Discourse

Discourse supports organized discussions for communities and organizations, with hosted products, self-hosted software and documentation for community administrators.

It is relevant to people investigating the software or service behind a community discussion space. Its focus includes Community forums, Hosted communities and Open source software, helping distinguish the platform's own capabilities and setup information from the content and participation rules of an individual community using it.
