Facebook

Facebook is a social network for sharing posts, photographs, video, and updates with people and communities. Its website brings together personal profiles, Pages, Groups, events, and other features for following interests or staying in touch.

An account is used for personal participation and many viewing features. Group membership, post visibility, business tools, and other functions depend on settings and permissions. Users can choose how to participate rather than assuming every post or group is publicly accessible.
