Threads

Threads is Meta's service for text posts and public conversations. People can publish updates, respond to other posts, and follow accounts around their interests; the official entry offers sign-in through Instagram.

It suits readers following an ongoing discussion as well as people sharing questions, observations, or short updates with a community. The browser entry provides access to the same service's account-based conversations, while the visibility and interaction settings attached to an account govern participation.
