New York City Housing Authority

The New York City Housing Authority provides public-housing and related housing-assistance resources within its programs. Its website includes information for applicants, residents, property-related services, and other participants.

Users should identify the exact program and current application or account route. Eligibility, waiting-list status, documentation, and resident processes vary. NYCHA is a specific public authority, not the operator of all rental housing or every affordable-housing program in New York City.
