Los Angeles Police Department

The Los Angeles Police Department's official website provides department information, local-area resources, public reports, safety material, and supported nonemergency service guidance. Users can locate the appropriate division or reporting route.

The incident, location, and current process determine how a request should be handled. A webpage or online form is not immediate emergency response. LAPD's city jurisdiction is distinct from the county sheriff, other municipal police departments, and state or federal agencies.
