Los Angeles Department of Neighborhood Empowerment

The Los Angeles Department of Neighborhood Empowerment supports the city's Neighborhood Council system and local civic participation. Its website includes council information, training, resources, policies, and ways for residents to engage.

Users can find the council serving their area or review information about participation and council operations. Council boundaries, meeting details, and particular processes need to be checked directly. Neighborhood Councils are not substitutes for the city departments that issue permits, administer utilities, or handle service requests.
