Obsidian

Obsidian is a note-taking application that works with local Markdown files and links between notes. Its website provides downloads, documentation, and information about features such as connected notes, plugins, publishing, and synchronization products.

Users can build a personal knowledge system while retaining a file-based collection of notes. Optional services and extensions have their own terms and data behavior. Local notes, paid sync, and publishing are different choices, so users can select the workflow that suits their own storage and collaboration needs.
