Medicare.gov is the official U.S. government website for Medicare. It explains the program, coverage options, enrollment, costs, plan information, and tools for people researching or using Medicare services.

Eligibility, timing, benefits, provider participation, and individual plan terms depend on the actual situation and product. Medicare is distinct from Medicaid and from private insurance offered outside the program. Public information and comparison tools do not themselves enroll a person or determine a claim.
