HUD

HUD's website provides official information from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. It covers housing programs, fair housing, rental assistance, housing counseling, and resources for communities and housing organizations.

Residents can locate relevant program information or follow links to the agency, housing authority, or approved provider responsible for a service. Local availability, eligibility, waiting lists, and applications vary. HUD's national information should not be mistaken for a single application covering every subsidized housing program.
