National Association of Secretaries of State

The National Association of Secretaries of State is a professional organization connecting the offices and work of U.S. secretaries of state. Its website provides organizational information, policy and professional resources, and links relevant to the responsibilities of participating offices.

Visitors can explore the association's work and find appropriate state-office resources. It is useful when a question spans multiple states or when locating the responsible secretary of state office. It is not itself an individual state's election or business-filing office; those services remain with the appropriate jurisdiction.
