Houston Police Department

The Houston Police Department's official website provides department information, public resources, safety guidance, reporting routes, and information about local divisions. It helps residents locate the appropriate nonemergency service.

An incident's location and nature determine the correct authority and process. A website report does not replace emergency response. Houston Police resources are distinct from Harris County sheriff services, neighboring municipalities, state police, and federal agencies.
