Chicago Animal Care and Control

Chicago Animal Care and Control provides official information about city animal services, adoption, lost animals, and related public resources. Its website helps residents find the appropriate facility or service route.

The animal, address, program, and current process determine requirements and availability. Adoption, licensing, owner services, and reporting can have different conditions. City services are distinct from private shelters, neighboring municipalities, and other animal-service authorities.
