About & Legal
789 USA · Effective and last updated
789 USA is an independent directory of websites and public services relevant to life in the United States. Find a useful starting point, read a website profile, then visit the provider directly.
1. About this directory
This notice covers us.789.work. Other country editions and every linked website have their own notices and practices. 789 USA does not operate the third-party websites it lists, process their purchases, issue government documents, or provide their customer support.
A listing, category position, logo or flag identifies a destination; it does not establish sponsorship, partnership, certification or endorsement in either direction. In particular, 789 USA is not a U.S. government website or an agent of a listed government body. Check the destination address and the agency's own instructions before submitting information or making a payment.
Profiles summarize publicly available information. Screenshots show a page at the time of capture; designs, prices, eligibility, features and access conditions can change. An iOS link points to a U.S. App Store listing when one has been verified. It does not promise continuing availability, compatibility, security or approval of an app.
2. Copyright, screenshots & trademarks
The website names, trademarks, logos, screenshots and third-party content shown in this directory remain subject to their respective owners' rights. They are displayed to identify and describe destinations. Their inclusion grants no license to copy a provider's content, use its marks, or imply an affiliation. Visit the original source and check its terms before reusing material.
The site's copyright notice applies only to original expression and other material in which the operator actually holds rights, to the extent protected by law. It does not claim ownership of facts, government identities, third-party works or material that is not copyrightable. The American landscape background is an AI-generated decoration, rather than a documentary photograph or a website screenshot.
Public availability, attribution, a small preview or a noncommercial purpose does not by itself establish permission or fair use. U.S. fair use requires a context-specific assessment under 17 U.S.C. § 107; this notice does not declare every image or use lawful. See the U.S. Copyright Office's fair-use guidance.
The federal-government rule in 17 U.S.C. § 105 has limits and exceptions. It does not make every item on a government website, or all state and local government material, public domain. Seals and marks may also be subject to separate restrictions.
3. Using the directory
Use the directory lawfully and respect others' rights. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, bypass access controls or use its branding to impersonate the service. Nothing here restricts rights or exceptions granted by applicable law or a component's separate license.
Information is general and is not individualized legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Confirm consequential information with the responsible provider or an appropriately qualified professional. For an emergency, use the appropriate emergency service.
The directory is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy, completeness or safety of third-party services. The provider's own terms govern its transactions. This notice does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuse fraud or intentional misconduct, or waive mandatory consumer or privacy rights.
Listings may be corrected, updated or removed as services and rights information change. No listing entitles a provider to continued inclusion.
4. Report a rights concern
If you believe a listing, screenshot, logo, link or description infringes copyright, misuses a trademark, discloses private information or is materially inaccurate, use the contact email below with the subject “789 USA rights request”. Include:
- The exact 789 USA page URL and the specific image, text or link concerned.
- A description of the work, mark or right involved, with an original source or other useful evidence.
- Your name, a reply address, your relationship to the rights holder and the correction or removal requested.
For a copyright claim intended to satisfy 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), also provide an authorized signature, sufficient contact information, a good-faith statement that the disputed use is unauthorized by the owner, its agent or the law, and a statement that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the owner, made under penalty of perjury. Identify each disputed location clearly. Send only information reasonably needed to assess the issue; do not send identity documents or unrelated sensitive records in an initial email.
We will assess sufficiently specific reports and take appropriate action, which may include correction, replacement, removal or disabling a link. We may request clarification and retain information needed to address the claim. See Privacy for handling of correspondence.
This is a rights-reporting channel. It is not a representation that this mailbox is a registered DMCA agent or that any particular statutory safe harbor applies. A general notice does not establish immunity or replace the applicable legal requirements.
5. Credits & software notices
Third-party software and artwork retain their own notices and applicable license terms. A license to a component does not license unrelated website content. Shared site assets are reused across country editions.
